Here at Smartneedle.com, our hearts go out to the people around the world who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
After reading the recent news of shortages of protective respiratory gear for healthcare personnel, we knew we could help! The public has been asked to sew protective masks for staff fighting coronavirus, as well as cancer and immunosuppressed patients. We have made a facial mask extension design for our customers to embroider if they want to use for themselves, or if they want to participate in this public effort to assist the medical community in their fight against the pandemic.
The resulting embroidered item can be given away (note: the embroidery file is a Smartneedle exclusive creation, which cannot be sold or copied). As per CDC, this mask extension is not outside CDC guidelines if other supplies are exhausted.
Our team wanted to be part of a solution. We have taken care of our associates and we want to care for our customers and our communities as well.
